Neurology

Neurology is the branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the nervous system. This includes the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. Neurologists study conditions such as strokes, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, migraines, and other neurological disorders. They use various diagnostic tools like MRI scans, CT scans, and EEGs to assess and treat patients. Unlike neurosurgeons, neurologists do not perform surgery but focus on medical management of neurological conditions.
